The River Company operates a 10 barrel direct fired Diversified Metal Engineering brew system.  Our system built in 1998 and originally installed in Globe, AZ. The River Company purchased the system in July 2008 and shipped it to Radford.

Our Chief Brewer supervised the installation and recommissioning of the system and commenced brewing in May 2009. We offer eight draft beers at any one time.  These are a mixture of year round offerings and special beers that the brewer dreams up.

We offer kegs for sale for home use and ask for a couple days notice to ensure that we have the correct style available.  Our kegs are a new plastic keg and as such have some dimensional differences than normal kegs.  Please ensure you have plenty of room in your kegerator for the keg to fit.  We do have a couple options to allow the keg to fit in smaller home kegerators. Please ask us.

Our year round offerings include:

Traveler's Pale Ale
A moderately assertive pale ale with a nice hoppy nose and medium bitterness balanced by a malty body.

River Red
Red Ale at its finest. Deep red color with a great maltiness makes this a flavorful, easy drinking ale

Farmhouse Hefe
Unfiltered wheat beer with hints of cloves and bananas in the nose. A creamy, fluffy mouthfeel makes this the ultimate summer beer

Fairlawn's Finest Cream Lager
Light beer with flavor. Not sure you want to jump right into the big flavor beers then this is the one for you! Smooth and easy drinking.

Dumpster Dog Porter
A big porter named for our Chief Brewers favorite dog! The dog was found in a dumpster and turned out to be one of the most complex animals Mike ever had. The porter shares this complexity with its masterful melding of chocolate, toffee, and roasted flavors. 

Southwest V IPA
One for the hopheads. Huge hop presence in this beer makes it highly assertive and not for the faint at heart! Easily the premier IPA in Southwestern Virginia!
